Paul Bennett is a solicitor, mediator and arbitrator who advises law firms and solicitors on SRA regulatory matters, anti-money laundering, employment and partnership law. His experience includes advising hundreds of law firms from high street, to City and US law firms on legal issues, regulatory investigatory and enforcement matters. An experienced advocate across a range of tribunals and courts, he has acted before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT), High Court and in the Court of Appeal. Paul has also advised representative bodies and regulators on matters linked to professional conduct and the Legal Services Act 2007. His latest book How to be a freelance solicitor? was published in December 2019 by Law Brief Publishing, who also publish his book A Practical Guide to the SRA Principles, Individual and Law Firm Codes of Conduct 2019, which helps law firms comply with the SRA regime.
