Jane was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992. She specialised in professional indemnity litigation before joining Nottingham Law School in 2003. As Reader in Professional Legal Education at the Nottingham Law School, she has designed a variety of programmes; including the core modules of the Law School’s Professional Skills Course for trainee solicitors, the compulsory Risk Management Education Programme for the Law Society of Hong Kong, and, with colleagues, a new qualification framework for Chartered Trademark Attorneys. In 2012, along with her colleague Professor Jane Ching, she undertook a research project to reform the professional legal educational framework in Mauritius. Jane was also a co-author of the SRA’s CPD Review.
